Recent events left me feeling somewhat morose this morning. I ‘m sure the weather didn’t help matters. It’s that kind of damp cold which seems to crawl up under your clothes and sink down into your skin. I’d rather just stay in bed and suck on macaroons and cappuccino. But then I had one of those Holy Spirit prompts that reminded me that this, too, is the day which the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. So we don’t just say, “whatever the weather, we’ll weather the weather, whether we like it or not.” Once you see your dark and gloomy day in the light of truth, the sun will come out in your heart. So on your dark days, remember His. Then you won’t just endure the day, you’ll rejoice in it.
